What determines if my application is approved or not?

An overall credit assessment takes place, taking into consideration several factors before determining if an application is approved or not. Key factors considered are your ability to service and credit history.

What determines my credit limit?

The credit assessment determines the credit card limit you will receive.

Do I need to bank with First Citizens to get a credit card?

No, you need not be a First Citizens customer to obtain a First Citizens credit card. You will be assessed on your financial position and history, not who you bank with.
